Larry the lounge lizard free2/25/2023 Now, it’s entirely possible that he’s just not a very good cabbie who isn’t too familiar with the area. That’s it, and he not only won’t take you anywhere else, he won’t even discuss any other potential destinations. There are only five places in town the cabbie will take you to.įor a city that appears as large as Lost Wages, it seems odd that the cabbie only has five locations he is willing to take you to: Lefty’s Bar, the Quikie Mart, the disco, the casino hotel, and the wedding chapel. This may seem like a tabloid-worthy claim, but the clues are everywhere, so let’s follow the trail of evidence, starting with the odd behavior of the guy you see the most during Larry’s night in Lost Wages… That robot is our hero Larry, Larry Laffer, one of a long line of identical machines damned to unknowingly relive this misadventure over and over in the name of scientific progress. Unbeknownst to Larry (but knownst now to us), Lost Wages is being used as a training environment to develop the abilities of a realistic android powered by artificial intelligence. However, there is more going on in Lost Wages than meets the eye…or rather, less. To that end, he travels to the city of Lost Wages to engage in an evening of debauchery like he had never experienced before. Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards (or, as most sane people call it, Larry 1) is the story of Larry Laffer, a 38 year old former nerd who had made the life-altering decision to transform himself into the consummate swinging single. However, King's Quest is far from the only corner of the Sierraverse to see its share of shady dealings, and on that note, here's my latest mock expose looking at the shocking truth of what's really happening in the first Leisure Suit Larry game, hope you all enjoy it!
